Why does this cable look different than my old one?
Many new phones, tablets, laptops, and other devices are being released with updated ports called USB-C. Simply put, it is a faster and more powerful way to transfer data and power. The MOS Spring USB-C cable will meet all the requirements your fancy new device needs.
What will it work with?
Your new device probably came with a charging block that plugs into the wall. What it probably did not come with is a cable that can withstand your adventurous lifestyle and look good while doing it. Although if you choose to use a regular USB-A charging block, this is the cable to get. Some common devices to use this cable with are:
- MacBook and MacBook Pro
- Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus, and Note 8
- LG V30S ThinQ
- Nokia 8 Sirocco
- Sony Xperia X72
- Google Pixel 2
- Razer Phone
- Asus ZenPad 3S 10
- Lenovo Yoga 900
- Asus Transformer Book T100HA
- Razer Blade Stealth
Why does it look so good?
The lightweight yet extremely durable housing protects the sensitive internal circuitry. The anodized aluminum heads offer a scratch resistant surface, minimal weight, premium look and feel, and laser-engraved logos.
The steel spring adds strain relief just where it is needed most. The spring is composed of unique carbon blackened steel so the color never flakes or fades. The ferrous metal also works great with our MOS cable organizers.
The black jacket is made out of cotton for comfort and durability while the grey jacket uses our Exoskeleton™ for extra toughness. High-grade TPE polymer wraps the inner wires for even further protection.
Lifetime warranty on all Spring cables
We are confident in our cables and are always willing to put our money where our mouth is. Please let us know if anything goes wrong and our excellent customer service will make it right.
Don’t be fooled by the lifetime warranty. They tell you they will cover any defects but what they don’t tell you is they make you pay for shipping back to them. I’ve spent too much on shipping cost only to have cable fail time after time. Cost of return shipping is never reimbursed and cable keep failing. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve sent my cable back to them. You may be better off buying OEM Apple lighting cables.
These cables are far more durable than any others I've owned, with a lifespan measured in years rather than months. I just bought a second set. The cable portions were still good (aside from a bit where my puppy chewed the jacket off), but the micro end prongs were apparently worn down such that charging was easily disrupted.
I have kids and did research and gave this MOS chargers a try but it failed me and my kids. Upon the first use the metal chip fell then I got it replace and the charger only last about 1-2 week then my phone can’t get charged anymore. I would rather invest in original apple cable cord.
MOS Spring Lightning Cable
Cable seems robust however, the male terminal fits looser than the broken factory one does on my Iphone 7. My guess is the tolorance may be broader / looser on the MOS male plug to fit a variety of devices. The spring does nothing to improve the loose plug in & fiddle factor is required to make a successful charge connection.
